When it Started

The company was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 2012 and the first products were launched in November 2014.


Drop employs a diverse and food-loving team of 40+ professionals with experience from companies like Google, Pinterest, Etsy, OpenTable and Cookpad.


Drop has offices Dublin, Ireland; San Francisco, California; and Zaragoza, Spain.

The Drop Platform

Over 100 different appliances of all types — everything from countertop appliances to double-cavity ovens — work with the Drop Recipes app.
