Eating food is part of our social fabric and a core part of a healthy body and mind. The experience of making food is now so daunting, ambiguous and friction filled that people are being forced to turn to take away, deliveries, and cooking packs which ultimately leave you unfilled and unhealthy.
Drop is a fast-growing, venture-backed team of human-computer interaction specialists with a love of great food who are working with the biggest kitchen appliance brands in the world to deliver the experience that removes the friction from the whole food-making process.
Our mission is to empower and inspire anyone to cook delicious food by connecting the world’s recipes and appliances — all orchestrated through a magical user experience.
We started with our own smart kitchen devices that integrate with the critically acclaimed Drop Recipes app. We have since launched partnerships with Bosch, GE Appliances, De’Longhi and Kenwood, with more to be announced in the coming months. Each appliance and recipe partner we connect brings us one step closer to being the de facto KitchenOS.
What’s the opportunity?
Drop is the global leader in the race to become the KitchenOS. We’re a product-first company, with founders and senior leaders having a background in product and design. Despite our success to date, we believe the best is yet to come and that we have a long future ahead. You will lead and execute the product strategy that ensures Drop deliver on the opportunity of that vision; millions of users making food on a regular basis through our products.
What will I be doing?
You will immerse yourself in our communities to deeply understand their needs and desires, and turn that into product strategies that will consistently delight our users and drive user growth. Your strategies will be backed by a world-class team of engineers who are hungry to build what you prioritize.
You will partner with the heads of Engineering, Design and Data Science, and leverage the experience of our Marketing team (all of whom are world leaders in their field) to ensure we consistently ship product experiences that users truly love:
